Hearts of Oak offer Solomon Agbasi three-year contract extension after Black Stars call-up

The proposed deal comes as the shot-stopper's stock continues to rise, highlighted by his recent invitation to join the Black Stars squad for upcoming international friendlies against Austria and Germany in March.

Agbasi's consistent displays between the posts have established him as one of the most reliable and promising goalkeepers in the Ghana Premier League.

Club officials view the extension as part of a broader strategy to retain core players and maintain squad stability. By securing standout performers like Agbasi, the Phobians aim to build continuity while strengthening their competitiveness both domestically and on the continental stage.

Agbasi joined Hearts of Oak at the start of the 2025-26 season and has since impressed greatly, conceding just three goals in nine league appearances while deputising for Black Stars number one Benjamin Asare. His growing influence was evident when he started ahead of Asare in Hearts' goalless draw with Bechem United earlier this month.
