Manchester City defender Matheus Nunes is hoping Ghana star Antoine Semenyo will have a good career at the club.
On the back of his outstanding performance, the Ghana international secured a high-profile move to Manchester City, smashing Ghana and Bournemouth transfer records with £65 million move.
Since his arrival, Semenyo has hit the ground running, scoring four goals in matches for the club. The Ghana international was on target when Manchester City played out a 2-2 draw with Spurs in a highly competitive clash on Sunday.
However, the Portuguese full-back has backed the enterprising attacker to have a successful career at Manchester City.
“Antoine [Semenyo]’s a lovely guy. Quite funny! He’s also an incredible player. I’ve played against him a few times. Hopefully he can carry on the form because he’s already been really good since he arrived.
He’s a player for many years at this club â he still has the best years of his career ahead of him. I just hope he has a really good career here at City”
The Ghana international has now scored 12 Premier League goals between Bournemouth and Manchester City, marking his best ever season in the top-flight.
