Rashad Musah believes Basake Holy Stars are in for a difficult afternoon when they face Asante Kotoko at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday, January 25, but insists his team is preparing well for the challenge.
The Holy Stars coach admitted that playing in Kumasi is never easy, especially against a side with Kotoko’s history and support. However, he remains focused on helping his players rise to the occasion as they look to improve their form in Week 20.
Holy Stars go into the match with just one win in their last three games and are under pressure to collect points to move away from the relegation zone.
“We are ever ready. Playing against Asante Kotoko at Baba Yara Sports Stadium is not an easy task. But we are preparing towards that and making sure that on Sunday God willing we will make people smile,” he told Basake TV.
Kotoko, meanwhile, are also struggling, having failed to win in their last three matches, a run that has hurt their title hopes for the 2025/26 season.
The match kicks off at 3:30 pm on Sunday.
