The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association has lifted the temporary ban imposed on Port City FC’s home venue, Kukurantumi Ohene Park, following investigations into crowd disturbances during their Division One League match against True Democracy on January 4, 2026.
Despite the decision to reopen the venue, Port City FC were found guilty of inappropriate conduct by their supporters, in breach of Articles 16(2)(f) and 16(2)(h) of the GFA Disciplinary Code, 2019. The club has been fined GHS10,000 and given 14 days to settle the amount.
The Zone Three side has also been cautioned that any future misconduct by supporters will attract harsher sanctions. The venue had earlier been placed under an indefinite temporary ban by the FA Executive Council following violent scenes at the January 4 fixture in Kukurantumi.
