Zabzugu Regent Hunts Headmaster for Sacking 8 Students

The Headmaster for the Zabzugu Senior High School Osman Halidu  has fled the school following a pressure mounted on him by Regent of the cut-off Northern community to readmit some eight students sacked for gross misconduct.

All eight females were asked to go home after the school disciplinary committee found them guilty of inflicting multiple injuries on junior students.

The students are Shani Hamdia, Abdulai Rahima, Sayibu Nimatu, Mohamed Humu, Ibrahim Rashida, Iddirisu Yakubu Zeinab and Braimah Rahinatu all final year.

They accused the junior students of peddling manner falsehood about them and made them to “kneel on chippings and flogged them with sponges” until their bodies became bloody, document sited by Ultimate News states .

School authorities after finding them guilty initially withdrew them from the boarding House and asked them to bring their parents to sign a bond of good behaviour. 

The students however refused  but rather packed out from the school and sought refuge at the regent’s palace. 

The regent according to  Ultimate News sources unconditionally  accommodated the sacked students and demanding their readmission. 

He has reportedly issued threats to the headmaster after meetings with palace elders failed to compromise his stance. 

The headmaster has therefore fled the school following the regular visits of palace elders to the school and the increasing summons to the chief palace.

Speaking to Ultimate News, Mr. Marcarious denied fleeing the school but said he was away because he lost a relative.

He addded the decision was to curb the increasing students indiscipline and pleaded with the regent to rather assist authority arrest the manace.
