Shatta Wale's hit single “Freedom” was played in Leicester City’s locker room, thanks to Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, following the club’s win over Sunderland.
The Foxes recorded an important 1-0 victory over Sunderland in the English Championship on Tuesday to maintain their lead in the league.
Issahaku was named in the starting line-up and lasted 80 minutes as James Justin’s first-half strike secured victory for the hosts at the King Power Stadium.
In the aftermath of the game, the Leicester City players took the celebrations into their dressing room, with Issahaku joining in.
In a viral video, the 19-year-old is seen dancing to Shatta Wale’s hit single “Freedom” as the song was blasted in the speakers of the Foxes’ locker room.
Issahaku has been enjoying his time with Leicester after joining on a season-long loan move from Sporting Lisbon in the summer.
The teenager scored his first goal for the Foxes in their 3-1 victory over Swansea City last week and looks to be settling in well.
In an interview after his unveiling as a Leicester player back in September, Issahaku said the King Power is the best place for him to grow and mature.
“I’m so happy. This is an amazing moment for me. I’m happy to be here. For me, from looking at Leicester and how I felt about the coach, here is the best place for me.
“This was the best moment for me to join Leicester City. I chose them because I think they can grow me and help nature. (Enzo Maresca) told me about the plans he has for me and how he wants me to play he wants to help me in my football,” he said.
