Ebusua Dwarfs midfielder Isaac Buckman has been named Man of the Match after helping the Cape Coast side win the 2026 X1 Energy Drink DOL Super Cup.
Buckman delivered an impressive performance in midfield as Ebusua Dwarfs fought back from a goal down to draw 1-1 with Semper Fi after 90 minutes at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi.
The final was decided on penalties, with Ebusua Dwarfs keeping their composure to secure a 5-4 victory and lift the trophy for the first time in the club’s history.
Buckman played a key role in the midfield throughout the contest, helping Ebusua Dwarfs regain control after falling behind in the first half.
His performance earned him the Man of the Match award as he capped a memorable evening with individual recognition.
The midfielder was among the five Ebusua Dwarfs players who successfully converted their penalties in the shootout.
His award adds to Ebusua Dwarfs’ historic triumph as the club begins the new Division One League campaign with the X1 DOL Super Cup trophy.
