The 2026 Arthur Legacy Invitational Tournament got underway on Monday, May 18, at the Borstal Institute pitch with several young football talents impressing scouts and football officials on the opening day of the competition.
Players from EurAfrica, SMAC FC, ArthurLegacy Select side, Goldberg FC, Liberty, Rising Stars, Taking Over FC and Cheetah FC were all in action as the tournament opened with entertaining matches and strong individual performances.
The competition, organised by ArthurLegacy, continues to provide a platform for talent identification and player development, while creating opportunities for young footballers to attract attention from clubs and football stakeholders.
Officials from CAABase were also present to monitor players during the opening fixtures.
With the tournament running from May 18 to May 22, more matches and scouting opportunities are expected in the coming days as teams compete for recognition in another edition of the youth competition.
