Richmond Opoku’s strike was enough as Young Apostles defeated All Blacks to return to winning ways and hand their survival chances a huge boost.

The attacking midfielder netted a belter after nine minutes to seal victory for the hosts at the Wenchi Sports Stadium.

Young Apostles created several chances to double the advantage with the goal scorer coming close just before half time.

However, they could not utilize their chances, as All Blacks defended resolutely.

After the break, the pendulum swung with the visitors asking questions, putting pressure on Young Apostles.

Despite the second half push, the away side could not find a breakthrough, leaving Wenchi empty handed.
