There was a special moment in the Black Stars' camp in Vienna as the squad celebrated Antoine Semenyo following his Carabao Cup triumph with Manchester City.
The Ghana forward lifted the first major trophy of his career on Sunday, playing a key role in City's 2-0 victory over Arsenal in the final at Wembley.
Semenyo joined his national teammates in Austria on Monday and was warmly welcomed by the squad, who took time to honour his achievement.
The celebration reflects the strong camaraderie within the Black Stars camp as Otto Addo's side prepares for crucial pre-World Cup friendlies against Austria and Germany.
Semenyo has been in outstanding form since joining Manchester City in January, earning Premier League Player of the Month for February and establishing himself as one of Ghana's most dangerous attacking threats.
Ghana will face Austria in Vienna on March 27 before travelling to Stuttgart to take on Germany three days later. The matches serve as vital preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where the Black Stars have been drawn in Group L alongside England, Croatia, and Panama.
