Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has expressed appreciation to the staff and management of Greater Accra Regional Hospital following a visit to the facility on Monday.
Addo, who was accompanied by members of the national team’s technical staff, commended the hospital for its commitment to delivering quality healthcare despite ongoing challenges, including financial constraints.
"Big, big respect for what you have been doing the last year," Addo said, acknowledging the institution’s service to the community, particularly to people who struggle to afford medical care.
He assured the hospital of continued support from the team, noting that the visit was not a one-off gesture but part of efforts to build lasting collaboration.
"This won't be the last time that we can find a solution to continuously support you. We really appreciate what this institution is doing for the people here in Accra," he added.
Addo also called on the public to recognise the hospital’s efforts and contribute to its needs, stressing that many resources are still required to enhance service delivery.
The visit, led by GFA President Kurt Okraku alongside the Black Stars technical team, was aimed at strengthening community ties and encouraging collective support for healthcare institutions in Ghana.
