The head coach of Medeama Sporting Club, Ibrahim Tanko, has admitted that his team, like any other side in the Ghana Premier League, can be beaten.
The gaffer travelled with his team to Abrankese last weekend to face Nations FC in their Week 21 fixture of the 2025/26 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign.
In a showdown at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex, Medeama SC scored first, but Nations FC rallied from behind to secure a 2-1 win, thanks to a brace from captain Razak Simpson.
Speaking ahead of his team’s upcoming Round 16 clash against FC Samartex in the MTN FA Cup, Ibrahim Tanko noted that his team has moved on from the last defeat, insisting that his team is not invincible and can lose games.
“I’ve always said we are not invincible. We have our strengths, and we have our weaknesses. We’ve lost two games now in all, and so we are going to prepare very well to face the upcoming games,” Ibrahim Tanko said.
Ahead of the FC Samartex game, the highly-rated tactician is confident his side will be victorious at the end of 90 minutes to advance to the quarter-final stage.
The upcoming clash is scheduled for Saturday, February 7, and will kick off at 5 pm at the TnA Stadium.
