Jordan Ayew has called for patience and confidence in young winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku after the Ghana international secured a dramatic 94th-minute winner for Leicester City against West Bromwich Albion.
Fatawu’s stoppage-time volley completed a tense night at the King Power Stadium, giving the Foxes a vital Championship victory despite fan protests and freezing conditions that left many seats empty.
Ayew, who has also scored five goals this season, emphasized the importance of supporting Fatawu.
"There's Abdul. He has so much quality, and sometimes it's a bit frustrating, but you know, he's young, and we, as the senior players, need to keep giving him the confidence to keep pushing and doing what he does best."
The match had an electrifying start as Ayew combined with Jordan James to open the scoring from close range.
West Brom responded before halftime when Karlan Grant capitalized on a counter-attack, curling the ball into the bottom corner to level the score.
The second half saw Albion dominate possession, creating multiple chances including an Isaac Price shot that hit the post, while Leicester keeper Jakub Stolarczyk produced a series of crucial saves.
