Ex-Asante Kotoko midfielder Michael Akuffo is currently undertaking an attachment with the club as part of his Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Coaching (Football) at the University of Education, Winneba.
According to multiple reports, has been supervising warm-up and cool-down sessions at Adako Jachie Training ground.
It is understood he will spend some weeks at the club as he continues towards his degree programme.
Akuffo returned to school after hanging up his playing boots in 2021 when he left King Faisal.
The 40-year-old had a successful seven-year stint with the Porcupine Warriors and revered as one of the best defensive midfielders of the Ghana Premier League.
He came through the ranks at Feyenoord Fetteh Academy (now WAFA SC) and also played for Ivorian giants ASEC Mimosas at a point.
