The private residence of the Minister of Lands and Natural Resources Samuel Jinapor located in Adjiriganor caught fire on Friday morning.
In videos sighted by Citi News, fumes of imminent fire were seen rising from the roof of the residence as personnel of the Ghana Fire Service addressed the situation.
The fire service recorded no casualties, although a portion of the house got burnt badly.
Meanwhile, Samuel Abu Jinapor, is currently not in Ghana as he is on official duty in Australia.
The cause of the fire is yet to be known pending investigations from the Ghana Fire Service.
