The Finance Minister Dr Mohammed Amin Adam has said that the government recognizes that organised labour has kept faith with the government.
He says they appreciate the continuous goodwill the government continues to receive.
“As partners, we have, through various forms of engagements and negotiations, managed to keep the labour front relatively calm and will continue to do so,” he said during a press conference in Accra on Thursday, August 29.
He added “As we reflect on the progress we have made, it is clear that our collective efforts are steering Ghana towards a path of sustained recovery and stability. The strides we have made in fiscal consolidation, debt restructuring, and economic reforms are not only yielding positive results but are also laying a solid foundation for future growth.”
In the area of support for start-ups, the Finance Ministers said that to build a vibrant ecosystem that will support the development of skills among the youth, a Digital Youth Hub is being constructed at the University of Ghana for young tech entrepreneurs.
This is to enable the entrepreneurs to interact, collaborate, start-up, and build sustainable technology-based businesses.
