MG goes red on Valentine’s Day in Accra, Kumasi & Takoradi

Media General Limited demonstrated that its staff members are of utmost priority to the organization when it organized a massive and an exciting goodies-packed Valentine’s Day celebration on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at its newly refurbished cafeteria for employees.

The celebration was not limited to Media General’s Accra Office. The company’s channels Connect FM, Takoradi and Akoma FM, Kumasi did not miss out on the celebration as they donned the red corporate colours that also resonated with the colour of love worn on Valentine’s Day and also celebrated the day with some goodies.

As a media house, staff unusually work sometimes long hours to ensure the stations are running.

The special Valentine’s Day event was therefore an opportunity for staff to come together, have fun, bond and relax whilst going about their usual work activities.

By 12 noon, the cafeteria area was fully decorated with red and white balloons and a huge Valentine Day backdrop.

Media General staff came in their red or a touch of red attire to celebrate the Day.

DJ Faculty serenaded staff to soothing music, which staff members enjoyed with some dancing to the music.

Giovani Caleb of the Date Rush fame was also present to interact with staff which added to the fun.

The Day’s side attraction was the Red Booth where staff posed for pictures.

There was free lunch on Media General with goodies from sponsors such as Twellium Industries, who provided packs of Verna Mineral Water, Planet Pineapple drink, American Cola  and many more drinks.

Fanmilk sponsored the event with  Superyogo ice cream and FanMaxx, Mcberry Biscuits came in with uniquely presented bouquet of party biscuits while Aduana Chocolate came along with their chocolate  products to make the day a memorable one

Trendee ballonz and Events beautifully decorated the forefront of the cafeteria fondly call ‘TV3 Pub’.

The spontaneous thank you messages to the company  and sponsors from  staff reflected their appreciation and their pleasant surprise at the positive and fun way the day turned out.

It was indeed a day of love, fun, bonding ,good food and great treats  all round  from Media General and sponsors.
