Aduana FC head coach Cioaba Aristica has praised his players following their hard-fought win against Heart of Lions.
The two-time Ghana Premier League champions secured a 1-0 win against Lions in the Matchday 14 game at the Kpando Sports Stadium.
Patrick Mensah's strike was enough for the 'Ogya' lads to secure the all-important which has propelled them to the top of the league log. The win also means Aduana has ended Heart of Lions' unbeaten home run.
Speaking in a post-match press conference, the Romanian tactician showered praise on the players for adhering to his tactics.
“I see the confidence from the players, and I told them that if we respect the tactics, we can pick all three points. Congratulations to the players for trusting the plan and going on to win the game," Aristica said after the game.
“Aduana FC, the team is working as a group, and they understand what we need in the game. I’m happy about this win. The game was very tactical, and it was very good,” he added.
Aduana FC now climb temporarily to the top of the league table with 27 points from 14 matches, one above Medeama who are yet to clear their fixture.
Cioaba Aristica will hope to guide his side to maintain their winning run when they host Hearts of Oak at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park in the Matchday 15 games this weekend.
