Ibrahim Sadiq scored with a late header to complete AZ Alkmaar's 3-0 win over Drita in the Conference League.
The Ghanaian winger came off the bench in the 75th minute and tucked away Mees de Wit's cross in stoppage time to spark cheers from travelling fans.
Sadiq's goal capped a controlled display from AZ, who led earlier through Sven Mijnans in the 17th minute and Isak Jensen before the hour. Drita fought hard at Stadiumi Fadil Vokrri but could not match AZ's pace or depth. The visitors held 67% possession and fired shots that turned pressure into chances.
Before his finish, Sadiq had two close efforts and showed quick feet and calm in tight spaces. His energy lifted the team when Parrott grew tired. Defensively AZ were steady; Owusu-Oduro made smart stops and the back line cleared danger when needed.
The win keeps AZ on track in the group and gives manager Maarten Martens room to rotate ahead of the tie with Jagiellonia Bialystok on December 18th.
