Dreams FC edged Bechem United in the early battle for survival to return to winning ways after a 2-1 victory on Sunday at the Tuba Astro Turf.
An early own-goal from Bo-at Regain and a strike from Razak Salifu shot Dreams FC into a two-goal lead after 25 minutes.
Bechem United pulled one back through Yaw Annor in an action-packed first half.
Both teams went into the game with just a point separating them, and Dreams FC needed a win desperately in front of their fans to open the gap between them and the Hunters.
Right at the start of the game, the Still Believe lads put Bechem United under intense pressure and after just five minutes opened the scoring after Regain turned the ball into his own net.
Dreams continue to dominate the early minutes and halfway through the first half, Salifu doubled the advantage with a clever finish.
The visitors responded two minutes through Annor later to halve the deficit.
After the break, both coaches rang in some substitutions with Dreams FC seeking to defend their lead while Bechem United strengthened their attack.
However, the second stanza failed to produce a goal as Dreams collected all three points in an important home game.
