
The government is set to begin re-construction of the stalled Anlo Afiadenyigba to Havedzi road in the Volta region in the coming weeks.
This follows the allocation of over 2.4 billion cedis to the roads ministry.
The deplorable road has caused the death of a minor in recent times attracting little effort from state authorities in recent past.
The Road Minister, Kwame Agbodza commencing a field visit to the Volta Region to access some major roads earmarked for construction says every fund earmarked for roads will be adequately utilized to ease the burden on Ghanaians.

The 10.3 km of road was awarded in 2013 under the erstwhile NDC administration but construction stalled after 2016. The Contractor reached over 70 per cent of construction but the contract was terminated under NPP administatrion without being re-awarded.
Residents and drivers lament severe hardship under the NPP over the failure to have the road completed.
The Roads Minister Kwame Agbodza assures government has given attention to the plight the of the people.
