Ghanaian artiste, producer and award-winning Disc Jockey, DJ Vyrusky has shared how renowned Master of Ceremony, Jerry Adjorlolo influenced his career.
DJ Vyrusky disclosed that at a point in his career when he was booked for multiple events, he found it difficult playing at all the events as he could not juggle between them simultaneously.
Speaking in an interview on 3FM Drive on Monday, November 11, the ‘Broken Heart’ hitmaker revealed that Jerry Adjorlolo then adviced him to form a group of DJs to minimize his workload.
He explained that the intention was to work with the DJs and associate them with his brand to enable him assign them to clients when there are more ‘gigs’ or offers.
“I go collect some two wedding some day and I for balance the two and I was just running in between the event and he [Jerry Adjorlolo] was like bro just form a group of DJs and let people know that these are my boys so when the book you now they know they are your boys.
“The whole idea was to be able to get more gigs,” he told Giovani Caleb.
He disclosed that through the initiative, a host of top DJs have emerged citing names like DJ Wallpaper.
“There a lot DJs that are big now that they’re going through Vyrusky that but nobody knows because I like to also put people on…now look at Wallpaper, he is everywhere,” DJ Vyrusky added.
