The 2024 Ibrahim Index of African Governance (IIAG) report has revealed that nearly half of Africa’s population, representing, 46.9% live in 28 countries where anti-corruption efforts have worsened since 2014.
Even more concerning, the report said, another 14.8% of Africa’s population live in 11 countries that have seen an increase in the pace of deterioration since 2019.
