Hundreds of supporters of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the former President John Dramani Mahama are currently walking some principal streets of Kumasi as part of its series of unity walk.
The walk started at 6am at the Aboabo Post Office.
Some of the bigwigs who have been spotted include: the Member of Parliament for Asawase constituency Muntaka Mubarak, John Jinapor, Kwaku Boahen, Joseph Yammin, former Ashanti regional deputy minister Andy Okrah, Kofi Adams, Koku Anyidoho, Kojo Bonsu, Anita Desoso, Asiedu Nketia and others.
The supporters are clad in the party’s paraphernalia with some carrying lantern on their heads.
Mr Mahama will deliver a speech after the walk when they converge at the Dogomoro Park for a mammoth rally.
