“The Patrol team after leaving the fuel station extended their patrols towards the Mampong-Ejura Road. The patrol team became suspicious and accosted them but one of them escaped leaving Inusah Braimah who was then driving the vehicle” he said.
COP Ken Yeboah added that a search was immediately conducted on him in the taxi cab. A sum of one thousand Ghana cedis (1,000.00) was found on him. This aroused the suspicion of the patrol team and subjected him to further interrogation.
Suspect Inusah Braimah admitted to the crime and led police to a nearby bush to retrieve the following items; two shotguns, eleven live supreme FTB BB and AAA, 32GR 70MM cartridge and two torch lights. The police also found two pairs of trousers to be his and the other belonging to his other accomplice known as Kofi Bukari.
