The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Sunday held its extraordinary conference in Kumasi, Ashanti region to deliberate on some proposed amendments.
Some of the proposed amendments were thrown out including the proposal to stop party members holding dual citizenship from contesting executive positions in the party.
Thousands of party supporters and government appointees thronged to the Baba Yara Stadium.
