The outbreak of the H1N1 influenza A which got the nation talking over the past two weeks is now under control, the Ghana Health directorate has assured.
Speaking at a media sensitization workshop for the media and other stakeholders in health in Kumasi, Regional Director of the Ghana Health Service Emmanuel Tenkorang notes that the efforts of the media in reporting the outbreak helped in curtailing the outbreak to other parts of the region and by far the country.
He said the GHS were working around the clock to unravel the cause of death and the outbreak.
