My telephone conversation with A Plus doctored -CID Deputy Director

The Deputy Director General of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service ASP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah (Mrs) has stated that her telephone conversation with controversial musician Kwame A Plus has been ‘doctored’ to achieve a mischievous agenda.

According to her, the released audio lasted for 5 minutes and not 56 seconds as speculated.

In a statement issued by her, she said the edited audio is to tarnish her hard earned reputation as a police officer.

‘I feel pained by this calculated and dastardly attempt to soil my reputation and I condemn same in no terms,’ she said.

A Plus was invited by the police to provide proof to back his allegation claims after accusing the two deputy chiefs of staff Francis Boakye Asenso and Abu Jinapor.

However, after the visit, A Plus in a conversation with the Deputy Director of CID said he had no evidence to back his claims of thievery against the two deputy chiefs of staff.
