Fifty-One (51) Form 1 students at Prempeh College in Ashanti Region who failed their exams have been promoted to form 2.
Authorities in the school say the students have been promoted on probation basis to allow them better their performance in the form 2.
Authorities have assured to put measures in place such as remedial to help the affected students to improve their academic performance in the school.
Assistant Headmaster in charge of academic Mr Solomon Nti speaking to Abusua Dawuro’s Osei Kwadwo debunked allegation by parents of the affected students that the school asked the students to go home.
He called on parents to help authorities in the school to put more effort to help improve the academic performance of the affected students.
However, some of affected students’ parents praised EIB NETWORK for its reportage on the issue.
