Striker Raphael Dwamena played his first game for his club FC Zurich last night in his club’s one all draw away to Lausanne in the Switzerland League after he was cleared to start playing football again exactly a week ago.
The Ghanaian forward enjoyed over 20 minutes of playing time as he came on in the 68th minute for FC Zurich to mark his full return to the Football pitch after almost a month on the sidelines after his botched tranfer to Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion for failing a medical test.
The Nkawkaw born Raphael Dwamena burst onto the scene recently with the Black Stars scoring a brace on his debut in Ghana’s win over Ethiopia in the AFCON qualifiers was only giving the greenlight to resume training last week after several medical examinations to ascertain the degree of danger or otherwise of the condition that led to failed medicals in England.
Raphael Dwamena was full of energy as he came on but could add up to his five goals he has scored in the current season.
