The Ashanti Regional Police Command have killed four people suspected to be armed robbers at Manso Nkwanta in the Amansie West district of the region.
The robbers are reported to have blocked the main road leading to the mining community on Wednesday at about 5:am.
Luck eluded them when the police chanced on them whilst they were robbing some passengers who were travelling.
The armed police men engaged the robbers in a gun battle and end up killing the four robbers.
The Police are currently addressing Journalists in a press conference on the issue.
