Family of little Stephen Otchere, who was recently bailed out of a financial difficulty following a detention by authorities of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) has commended EIB Network for the gesture.
Mother of Stephen Otchere, Agnes Nkrumah could not honor payment of accumulated bills of GHC10,181 for being treatment of burns at the facility.
The one and half baby got burnt when the mother was boiling water which accidentally poured on him, peeling off his body.
EIB Network touched by the plight of the boy last week August 25, 2017 paid the bills to facilitate his discharge and possible recuperation.
Madam Agnes Nkrumah and some family members on Wednesday visited and thanked management of Ultimate FM, Abusua FM, the entire EIB family and all donors for coming to her aid to save the life of the innocent baby.
Abusua News’ Derrick Opoku filed a report which was first published on Ultimatefmonline.com and subsequent publications on sister stations.
Host of Kasapa Adepa Nkye, Fiifi Banson led a campaign to solicit for donations to clear the accumulating bills which was settled within 24 hours at the KATH last week Friday.
