Hundreds of residents of Bole in the Northern region are mourning the death of Army Captain Maxwell Mahama who was lynched by an irate youth at Denkyiraboase in the Central region.
Information reaching Ultimatefmonline.com indicates that the residents have gathered at the late Captain’s father’s house in Bole mourning their loss.
Some of them clad in red and black attire are calling on the top hierarchy of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) to allow the soldiers stationed at Diaso avenge the late Captain’s death by ‘teaching’ residents of Denkyiraboase some lessons.
Some of the aggrieved who spoke to Ultimatefmonline.com threatened not to rest until justice is delivered.
Some residents of Bole and other indigenes in the North have also taken to social media expressing their dissatisfaction about the murder of Captain Mahama.
The late Captain Mahama’s father is also a retired Captain, Captain Chubby Adam Mahama.
He is noted for his generosity towards residents in the Bole district and its environs.
The late Captain Mahama was mistaken for an armed robber on Monday, pelted with stones and burnt to death at Denkyiraboase on his way from jogging by an irate youth who claimed robbers have been terrorising residents.
The late Captain Mahama was a native of Bole.
