There was rich display of incessant traditional music and cultural performances during the opening of the Kumasi City Mall on Thursday April 20, 2017.
The Kumasi Centre for National Culture and other performing groups were spotted entertaining shoppers and window shoppers with different moves of traditional dances such as kete, adowa, agbadza, takai, kpanlogo among others.
The energetic dancers were clad in African print and the drumming was a sight to behold.
The mall is a development owned by Delico Kumasi Limited, a subsidiary of Delico Property Investments Ghana Limited.
The same group owns majority shares in the Achimota Retail Centre and the West Hills Mall in the national capital, Accra.
KCM will officially be commissioned by the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II on Thursday May 10, 2017.
