A level 400 student of the University of Ghana, Legon Jennifer Nyarko is reported dead after jumping off her hall’s balcony.
It is unclear what might have caused her to jump from the balcony of Akuafo Annex 407, but some of her colleagues say the 22 -year old Consumer Science student was suffering from ‘hay fever’.
She was pronounced dead upon reaching the hospital after pedestrians saw her lying on the ground.
The body has since been deposited at the mortuary.
The family had visited the school after the school authorities informed them about the incident.
