Girl, 16, Commits Suicide In Her Mother’s Kitchen

A 16-year old Barbara Asante, a Junior High School (JHS) pupil of Child of Hope Preparatory School at Akyem Osiem has committed suicide.

The deceased was found hanging at the kitchen of her parents house at Akyem Tafo on Tuesday.

The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Akyem Tafo Hospital morgue.

The cause of the death of the student is not yet known.

A witness told Ultimate news’ Kojo Ansah, the deceased was noticed missing in the house  on Tuesday, which was a holiday for pupils in Ghana.

A search by her mother proved futile, however, she was later found hanging at the kitchen when the mother went there to cook food for the family.

The Police were later notified and after taken inventories at the crime scene, deposited the body at the morgue whiles investigation continues.

Tattling information gathered indicates that, the deceased had complained that, she was haunted by strange creatures forcing her to kill herself.

The devastated family of the deceased is currently assisting police investigate the incident hence yet to make official statement on the incident.
