The king of morning shows, Kwame Adinkra has been honoured by the Ghanaian Language and Students Association of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (GLASA-KNUST) for his immense contribution to the development of indigenous Ghanaian language and culture specifically Akan.
The Host of Abusua Nkommo on Abusua FM, was presented with a citation by the leadership of the association at the studios of Abusua FM on Tuesday.
Mr Adinkra expressed appreciation to the team for their recognition of his efforts and contribution in promoting the use of the Akan language and culture on the airwaves.
The citation reads: ‘The level of activism and diligence you have displayed towards the growth and protection of Akan and its culture over the years is admirable. we salute you’.
Abusua Nkommo starts Mondays-Fridays at 6:15am.
