UK Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson has pledged to work assidulously to get more British firms to invest in Ghana to help boost the Ghanaian economy.
Addressing the press after holding a private talk with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo- Addo at the Flag Staff House, Mr Johnson said he intends to do everything within his power to foster the Ghanaian -UK relations.
The UK foreign secretary is on a two nation West African tour that has taken him to The Gambia and now, Ghana.
He is scheduled to visit the blue skies factory later today and also address the press later tonight at the British high commission.
EIB’s Wilberforce Asare reported that President Akufo- Addo on his part expressed satisfaction about the discussion with Mr Johnson citing bilateral matters, trade corporation, business corporation and happenings in West Africa.
