Ambassador Kwesi Quartey has been elected as the Vice Chairperson of the African Union (AU) Commission in Addis Ababa-Ethopia.

Ambassador Quartey who is Lawyer and career diplomat was deputy foreign affairs minister and ambassador to UN, AU, Cuba, Brussels and  had the backing of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo
