Outgoing Minister of Energy and Petroleum Minister has denied apportioning blames to President John Dramani Mahama for being the cause of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) humiliating defeat at the just-ended polls.

Ellembelle constituency lawmaker disclosed that articles attributed claiming the president is to blame for the NDC’s defeat are false and fabricated by some faceless individuals just to cause disaffection as well as denting his image and relationship with the outgoing President.

“I am proud of the achievements of the NDC led by president Mahama and firmly believe that President Mahama will forever be remembered not only for the great works but his hallmarks of bringing people together, humility, integrity and dedication.

“Ghanaians will shortly call for his return and I believe it will be shortly in 2020,” Hon. Kofi-Buah wrote in a statement.

He added: “As the Member of Parliament, I will continue to lobby for more developmental projects and the good welfare of my constituents.”

I have noted with utter contempt a vicious fabrication circulating on social media attributed to me. It is a complete lie and must be treated as such.

I have not granted any interview with West end radio as has been circulated.

I am proud of the achievements of the NDC led by president Mahama and firmly believe that President Mahama will forever be remembered not only for the great works but his hallmarks of bringing people together, humility, integrity and dedication.

Ghanaians will shortly call for his return and I believe it will be shortly 2020.
