The Presidential nominee of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has added his voice to the calls by executives of his party asking the president John Mahama to concede deafeat.
Addressing selected journalists at his residence at Nima, Accra, he suggested to the president to man up to accept defeat to ease the heightened tension in the country since the Electoral Commission (EC) is delaying in declaring results.
According to him, figures trickling in from the collation centers indicate that he is leading the polls.
There are arranged chairs at the residence of Nana Addo with lots of supporters some already dancing to victory.
There are party bigwigs also gathered at Nana Addo’s house.
