The Ghana Education Service (GES) has dispelled claims that December 7, 2016 is a public holiday for schools across Ghana.
Ghana goes to the polls on December 7 to elect its presidential and parliamentary candidates and some politicians are calling for a public holiday.

‘Heads of school are requested to follow the academic calendar as planned and are to comply with the above directive,’ it said.
