After heavily descending on the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mr John Kudalor and using all manner of unprintable adjectives to describe him, New Patriotic Party (NPP) controversial lawmaker for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has shown some remorse.
On Accra-based Oman Fm which belongs to him, he said “I want to apologise to the IGP for the attacks on him…he is a friend from Tema but you know in the heat of things, such things can happen…so he should forgive me…I have called but because I have changed my number, he has not been picking but he should please forgive me…,”
The maverick politician it would be recalled on Tuesday, launched a scathing attack at the police chief over the violence at Nana Addo’s residence.
The controversial legislator who has always been in the news for his abusive conduct, on an Accra-based Adom Television , rained unprintable insults on the police chief over what he described as his indifferent attitude to the whole incident.
“What kind of police do we have in this country? If it is the opposition, crime committed, but if it an NDC no evil seen. He is an asshole, a foolish IGP and bias”.
“There have been instances not or two, the IGP and his men invited a prophet for coming out to share his spiritual vision and leave people who go out on radio to confess uncountable murder committed and are living in their comfort homes”. Are those people better than any other Ghanaian”, he asked.
The NPP firebrand threatened that members of the NPP will henceforth defend themselves if the police fail to come to their aid.
“I said something and I was foolishly arrested and charged for treason. He is the useless IGP ever and I regret buying a car for the Tema police. If he wants chaos, there will be chaos. What Kind of foolish things are these”, he asked
He said it is not under his purview to dictate to the IGP but will defend himself if the need arises threatening a double dose of what may be unleashed on members of the NPP.
