Stonebwoy jabs Shatta Wale as a ‘big mouth’ and ‘settings man’ {VIDEO}

Renowned Ghanaian Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has taken a swipe at fellow musician Shatta Wale, tagging him as loud and a pretender for the screens.

The two have been beefing each other for years, jabbing one another whenever the opportunity presents itself and sometimes crossing personal boundaries by uttering unprintable words.

Sometimes it seems like a friendly banter between two of Ghana’s most successful musicians but that quickly turned sour when they clashed at the 2019 Ghana Music Awards, leading to the cancellation of the entire event. They were both banned from participating in the awards ceremony but that was lifted in 2021. However, that has not deterred them from going at each other whether jokingly or throwing hard-hitting shots.

Stonebwoy’s recent comments come on the back of the news that Shatta Wale gifted his camp member MC Portfolio GH¢ 5,000.00.

Speaking in an interview on Angel FM, he branded Shatta Wale’s gesture towards MC Portfolio as a trick and an attempt to intimidate and lure him.

Brother, it is not a problem… and if ‘big mouth’ is giving you money, it is not a problem. He is a setting man.

It is setting that he used to deceive [MC] Portfolio… he’s lying, it is settings. Do you know the cars I drive? Do you know the money God has blessed man with that we can’t boast of?

He made these comments while MC Portfolio was also seated in the studio.

The reigning Ghana Music Awards Artiste of the Year also questioned Shatta Wale’s self-proclaimed wealth.

He is setting up with GH¢ 5,000.00. He has kept five cedi notes in his room so he thinks he’s rich. He wanted to intimidate him [MC Portfolio] with GH¢ 5,000.00. Ask him how many times I have promised to give him something. By God’s grace, I have more than that to offer.

Meanwhile, Shatta Wale has not responded to him yet.
