Ghana Football Association Vice President George Afriyie is confident about his chances of being elected President of his outfit supposing he makes the decision to contest.
George Afriyie has been touted as a front runner for the top position ever since the incumbent President Kwesi Nyantakyi stated he will not run for re-election in 2019.
The founder and owner of Okyeman Planners was speaking to Asempa Fm as he spoke on the possibilities on him emerging President of the Ghana Football Association in 2019
"I know the terrain, so If I decide to contest I know how I would run the campaign," he told Asempa FM
"I haven't declared my intensions to contest for GFA president, however if I do, there are processes to go through"
The position of the Ghana Football President will seem to be the most sort after in the Ghana sporting scene in the year 2019.
Individuals like Dreams Fc Executive Director Kurt Okraku, Phar Rangers President Nana Amponsah and former Kumasi Asante Kotoko Chairman Herbert Mensah have been speculated to be eyeing the position.
However, it is only Nana Amponsah who has clearly expressed his interest in the job
