Narrating the incident, an eyewitness said Abdul Aziz is a CD seller on the busy Takoradi-Kojokrom bus terminal. And the mast fell on the container in which he was working thereby causing his death.
The death has been reported of a young man killed by a falling telecommunications mast at Takoradi in the Western Region.
The deceased has been identified as Abdul Aziz, a trader. He is reported to have suffered massive head injuries from the accident.

It is reported that he was rushed to the Effia-Nkwanta Regional Hospital in Takoradi before being referred to the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi where he was confirmed dead.
It is alleged that the mast belongs to Nigerian telecom giants, Globacom, however, they are yet to comment on the issue.
