Shocker: 17-year old boy kills mum over missing memory card

The murder suspect, Emmanuel Gyan Gyan is reported to have killed his 52-year-old mother, Faustina Agyeiwaa by hitting her head, severally, with a pestle after which set attempted to set her body ablaze.

The boy had accused his mother of taking a memory card from his phone. Though the mother had denied the accusation, a furious Gyan went ahead to attack and kill her.

The incident happened Wassa J.Y No.1. in the Sefwi Wiawso district on Monday, January 15.

Gyan, Graphic Online reported the Sefwi Waiwso police as saying, was arrested and brought to the station by his biological father, Isaac Somuah, aged 58, assisted by one Stephen Amponsah.

Her body has since been deposited at the Bibiani government hospital mortuary awaiting autopsy.
