A 30-year-old pregnant woman who was set ablaze by her 34-year-old boyfriend, Laquinn Phillips has given birth to a baby girl, six weeks prematurely and she is recuperating as the baby also grows stronger by the day.

Laquinn Phillips deliberately set Andrea Grinage ablaze for which he is reportedly facing charges, according to littlethings.com.

According to littlethings.com, about 90% of Andrea’s body was burnt in the attack and she has limited use for her hands.

When they were discharged from the hospital, members of the community were so happy to see her and the baby alive that they flooded her house with lots of items from food to toys.

Andreas could not hide her joy at the love exhibited towards her by her neighbours. She said “It’s a blessing, I’m happy that people are able to help me and my family.”
