The Miners have parted ways with 12 players of the club
Ashanti Gold have terminated the contracts of twelve player after failing to meet the bar line.
The head coach of AshGold, C.K Akunnor has communicated the sad news to the affected players.

The decision was taken to free the wage bill of AshGold and also make room for new inclusion to the team
C.K Akunnor took the Obuasi-based club midway through last season following their struggles and guided them to premier league safety.
The affected players include:
Afoakowa Jr, Afoakowa Snr, Bright Donkor, Richard Gyamfi, Seth Afful, Samuel Yeboah, Paul Abeka Nkrumah, Fuseini Abideena, Richard Ocran, Kofi Owusu, Condey Idan and Samuel Frimpong Sarkodie.
