According to the Commissioner of happiness, Ogechi Ololo she will be in charge of “purpose fulfilment”.
Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha has appointed his sister as the commissioner for happiness.
Okorocha announced this position during the swearing-in of 27 other new commissioners for Imo State.
Many Nigerians have criticised his decision, questioning the need for such a role. Others also demanded to know what the commissioner will be expected to do.

However, according to the BBC his sister Ogechi Ololo said she will be in charge of “purpose fulfilment”.
Okorocha in recent times has been criticised for taking what many describe as unusual decisions.

Okorocha raised eyebrows across the continent in October after he unveiled a statue dedicated to South African President Jacob Zuma – a man who has no apparent links to the south-eastern state.
He later unveiled statues dedicated to Liberian President Ellen Sirleaf-Johnson and her Ghanaian conterpart President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo.
